The replica statue of The Christmas Box Angel of Hope located at Silver Springs Cemetery was inspired by the book “The Christmas Box” written by Richard Paul Evans. The Christmas Box story is about a widow who takes in a young family and they all discover together the first gift of Christmas & what the holiday is really all about.
The Christmas Box Angel of Hope was created by the author, Richard Paul Evans. The original Christmas Box Angel of Hope is located in Salt Lake City, Utah. It has become a truly meaningful memorial to children all over the world.
To honor Megan and everything she represented, her brick says “Throw Kindness Around Like Confetti.” – Megan Keleman. A lasting tribute to Megan and words we should live by. A brief ceremony was held to honor those families having bricks dedicated to their children and to every family that already has a brick dedicated to their child. Families laid flowers at the base of the Christmas Box Angel statue in honor of their children.
The Keleman’s want to thank the family and friends who came to the dedication. The Keleman Family wants to give a big heartfelt thank you to Christine Moncheck and all the members For The Friends of the Angel Committee. Words cannot express their commitment and dedication for providing a loving and compassionate way for families to honor the loss of a child while providing hope and having their memories live on.
