First Annual Megan Elizabeth Keleman Scholarship for the Six District Education Compact Awarded

Apr 29, 2025 | Honoring Megan's Legacy, Six District Education Compact

On April 28, 2025, the first annual Megan Elizabeth Keleman Scholarship for the Six District Education Compact was awarded to a graduating senior who completed two years of the Engineering Academy.

This year’s recipient was Nathan Harterburg. Nathan will be graduating from Stow-Munroe
Falls High School in May 2025 and will be attending Cedarville University in the Fall. He will be majoring in Mechanical Engineering. Nathan will be running Cross Country and will be on the Lacrosse team. While attending Stow-Munroe Falls High School, Nathan carried a 4.39 GPA, was a 3-year letterman in Cross Country & Track, was a Percussionist in the Marching Band & the Concert Band, and is the current school record holder in the 5K, Indoor 1600 & Indoor 3200. Congratulations to Nathan!

To honor Megan and for the inaugural scholarship presentation, many of Megan’s classmates from the Engineering Academy graduating class of 2016 were in attendance. A true testament of how the bonds created while participating in the academy last over time. To continue honoring Megan’s legacy of spreading kindness like confetti, the Keleman Family and Megan’s Rainbow of Hope will be working with The Six District Education Compact and The Engineering Academy to make this an annual scholarship for future academy students. In Megan’s honor and to support the program, a plaque will be placed in the Engineering Academy displaying every year’s recipient of the Megan Elizabeth Keleman Scholarship.

Many thanks to the Six District Education Compact and the entire faculty of the Engineering Academy for their continued love and support.
